I’m sorry for forgetting to post this last week, but the ScrollBoss YouTube channel hit a milestone recently: 1,000 subscribers! For a channel that goes so long between videos, it feels really good. I posted a Thank You video last Friday that shows some clips for things I’m working on right now.
None of these things have an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) yet, unless mentioned:
– Nutroll: will be back for this year’s Illvember. You’ll find out what he’s been up to and more Illmosis characters will get sprites here and there.
– Media Center: Had to do a lot of work to set up more monitors compared to the 1989 version, this will get more use in the near future.
– 80’s arcade: There will be an updated version of this background including the new suspiciously familiar carpet pattern (shoutout to all the programs out there) and redone Space Invaders cabinet. No ETA for this yet.
– Golden Axe: progress is a bit farther out, but that Tyris Flare sprite in the Mega Drive cover art shot is one of the new and/or updated sprites you’ll get when that hits here.
– Green Lantern: That Sprite Showcase is at maybe 30-40% assembled in Vegas right now, including shots, sprites, animations, and another background not shown yet. Pushing for late September, but it may be early October. Expect that new Green Lantern Corps. Custom sprite sub-gallery from the last update to get bigger.
– 3D Toy Aisles: Even though I showed you the Jada Toys Street Fighter and Mega Man section, I still have some surprises finished, and you’ll see a lot more in December.
Also: added the Muscle Busting site to the links section, a site you’ll want to check out if you like Kinnikuman (or M.U.S.C.L.E.), the Super Mario Bros. Super-Show, or pro-wrestling. If you like all three, you’ll REALLY want to check it out! They were linking to me already, so you know they’re nice.
Gotta get back to work on the Green Lantern Showcase, but I’ll have a small update later this September!
