coin-op
An abbreviated form of 'coin-operated machine,' this term refers to a wide variety of machines, including pinball and video games. Insert coin, receive bacon play time.

Coin-op video games appear in games themselves and can often be found in arcades and bars, much like real life back when the older games were made. The machines are usually based on the games of the company who made the game, because, really, it's not like they're going to sue themselves over it. A few games get a lil' weird on you by having a coin op machine of the game appear inside the game.
