| The evil, vengeful Medusa escapes the Underworld and kidnaps the one responsible for banishing her there (and turning her into an overweight cycloptic gorgon instead of a surprisingly-hot gorgon), the goddess Palutena. Medusa commands her army to overrun the land and has her fiercest minions guard the three Sacred Weapons that could be used to defeat her. Luckily, Palutena is able to summon enough power to grant a magic bow to Pit, one of the only angels who hadn't been turned to stone. Pit, who is not called Kid Icarus, sets out to recover those treasures, defeat Medusa, and rescue Palutena. And maybe get a kiss from a goddess. | |
