| Beats of Rage is a tribute to Sega's Streets of Rage series that uses sprites and characters from the King of Fighters series to create a whole new experience. Kula Gem, Max Bacon and Mandy Bluegard team up to rid the city of the crimelord known as Mr. Y. Combat fits the classic Sega 3-button Attack/Jump/Special Attack style with an Attack button chain combo, various grapples, jumpkicks, SoR-style safe landings from enemy throws and a special attack that deals more damage but also costs a bit of the player healthbar. Many of the enemies are analogues to Streets of Rage enemies and scenes from all three games paid respect here in updated and redrawn forms | |
